Tonight I rolled out two changes.
- Beta users. Certain users will now get (certain) features before everyone else. I’ve started emailing the chosen few personally. Let me know if you want in on this sort of thing. Don’t worry, most features will go up for everyone at the same time… this is only for special features.
- Listen. The first feature rolled out to only beta users is the ability to listen to audio on the site. Previously you could view videos and look at images, now you can listen to songs. How do you enjoy a song? For the moment only via the last.fm integration, once you do that people can (hopefully) listen to it on the site.
Also, if you are a beta user, the version of Skinny Love that enjoysthin.gs finds is not the studio version… but it’s devastatingly good. Go listen to it.
Update: It’s been pointed out to me that this doesn’t work so well in Safari. I will try to fix it, but until then I’ll refer you to questions 5 and 6 of the faq:
