I just added this on a lark and then promptly wasted quite a bit of time playing with it.
It was just a quick little thing I did for fun, it doesn’t count for 31 in 31.
Avatars!
I didn’t post last night because I was tired… (I’ve been working on 31 features in 31 days, give me a break). Either way, I did indeed push a new feature.
You can now change your avatar directly from enjoysthin.gs… previously, you had to use gravatar. Their performance in serving the avatars was so bad that many people had asked me to switch from them for perfomance...
Dear fucking lord
The feature I added today involves auto importing thumbnails from a popular site. It’s the perfect candidate for a screenshot just like every other blog post I make about new features… except I just can’t do it.
So, the new feature is ths: when you enjoy a youtube video, I’ll automatically import the the image url. It looks terrible, but that’s not my fault.

Flickr!
Hopefully there will be another feature tonight, but for now I’ve added auto importing of your flickr favorites. The flickr API is nice, but it’s got a couple of quirks which make this a bit dumber than the Vimeo importing.
You have to enter your flickr email address so I can find your user information
There are performance issues that don’t affect you… but they make me...
